Double-Sided Scale for Maximum Versatility

The PROTECT DS features a double-sided measuring scale. The horizontal scale on the front is perfect for measuring along surfaces and edges, while the vertical scale on the back makes it easier to measure heights and vertical elements. The pronounced curvature of the tape makes marking on the back even more precise: the tape is easier to position, enabling more accurate readings. This makes measuring even easier and more precise—even when working overhead or in hard-to-reach places.

Dual End Hook for Any Measuring Position

The dual end hook can be hooked on in two directions, making it significantly easier to measure along edges and areas. In addition, the end hook can be moved (also known as sliding), enabling particularly precise measurements of inner and outer dimensions. A large, sturdy stop keeps the tape securely in place, allowing for stable and reliable measurements in any position.

Enhanced Protection with Nylon Coating

The 5 meter (16-foot) long, 25 mm (1-inch) wide blade is made from high-quality steel and coated with durable nylon, providing superior resistance to wear, scratches, and corrosion—significantly extending the tool’s lifespan. The matte yellow, anti-glare surface makes scale readings quick and effortless, even in bright conditions.

The shock-resistant 2-piece plastic housing of the PROTECT DS features a non-slip, rubberized surface, ensuring a secure and ergonomic grip. The reinforced initial tape section provides long-lasting precision and protection against damage.
