The METEC combines a digital tape measure (5 m / 16 ft) with a laser distance meter (20 m / 65 ft) in a single device. In addition to length measurements, the device also enables calculating areas and volumes as well as indirect measurements using the Pythagoras function. The measurement results are shown on an illuminated LCD display and can be transferred to the SOLA Measures app on a smartphone via Bluetooth or to a PC using SOLA Data Connector.

The REC RRD2 receiver localizes the rotating red laser beam of a rotation laser quickly and precisely.
